Merrell All Out Blaze Flips: Endless Summer Comfort

Gear Review: All Out Blaze Flips

Here in Southern California flip-flops are not merely seasonal attire. They are our footwear of choice. I even have a pair I jokingly refer to as my “dress pair”. That said, wearing flip-flops on a continuous basis can have the unfortunate side-effect of wearing on your knees. This is where the Merrell All Out Blaze Flips come into their own.

A few additional features worth highlighting:

  1. Neoprene lining on the straps; super comfortable but it will trap sand

  2. Great traction on wet and dry surfaces; no more sliding around

  3. Toe and heel protection; a slight curved section provides just the right amount of coverage

You really can’t go wrong with Merrell footwear and I’ve been wearing their shoes for years. The craftsmanship is long-lasting and the designs are a perfect match for my outdoor lifestyle. If you are looking for the comfort and durability of a hiking shoe with the endless summer freedom of a flip-flop, I think the All Out Blaze Flips will work as well for you as they do for me.
