Outrigger Races in Southern California Cancelled Through June

The Southern California Outrigger Racing Association (SCORA) cancelled all OC-6 Iron races through June – effectively scuttling the Iron season for the year due to the global COVID-19 pandemic. SCORA had previously cancelled all events through May.

Events cancelled now include:

1. Crystal Pier – San Diego

2. Rig Run – Santa Barbara

3. Kahanamoku Klassic – Los Angeles

4. Ventura Ocean Challenge – Ventura

5. Kahakia Iron – Long Beach

6. State Iron Champs – San Diego

At this time, it is unknown if the Sprint season and 9-man races will take place later in the year.
